Sparrow Mentors Membership Terms and Conditions

SPARROW MENTORS is owned and managed by Shaun Rennie (ABN 19 116 397 018) (“SPARROW MENTORS”). Your subscription to SPARROW MENTORS and access to its published materials through its emails or website is conditional upon your acceptance and compliance with the terms, conditions, notices and disclaimers contained in this document (the “Subscriber T&Cs”).

Your acceptance of these Subscriber T&Cs and continued use of the Sparrow Website and/or receipt of its materials constitutes your agreement to be bound by these Subscriber T&Cs.

No Obligation to Accept Applications
SPARROW MENTORS is under no obligation to accept any applications to join SPARROW MENTORS.
Subscription Term
Subscriptions are for a period of 12 months commencing on the date that SPARROW MENTORS notifies the Subscribers that it has accepted the Subscriber’s application to become a SPARROW MENTORS Subscriber.
SPARROW MENTORS can refuse any application to become a subscription for any reason and may cancel a subscription without any notice or reason.
Termination of Subscription
SPARROW MENTORS Subscribers may terminate their Subscription at any time during the Subscription Term by written notification to SPARROW MENTORS by email. In the event a Subscriber terminates his/her Subscription, SPARROW MENTORS will be under no obligation to refund to the terminated Subscriber any portion of his/her Subscription Fee.
Subscription Fee
A 12 month Subscription Fee is payable to cover SPARROW MENTORS administration costs and the cost of operating the SPARROW MENTORS website and providing events and offers to Subscribers.
Personal Information
Your personal information (“PI”) will be collected to enable SPARROW MENTORS to assess your application to become a SPARROW MENTORS Subscriber and to administer and promote the SPARROW MENTORS and to assess your suitability to receive offers and benefits to certain events (including on the basis of your age bracket and place of residence). Your PI may be provided to others assisting, including event producers and ticketing agencies, but will not be provided to any other third party for any purpose not listed above. You may contact SPARROW MENTORS at the address listed below to request access to any of their collected PI that is still held. If you do not truthfully provide all requested PI, SPARROW MENTORS may determine that you will be ineligible to become a SPARROW MENTORS Subscriber.
Transferability
SPARROW MENTORS Subscribers cannot transfer their Subscriptions to any other person without the prior written consent of SPARROW MENTORS.
Registering 2 email addresses as a Subscriber
SPARROW MENTORS Subscribers may register two (2) email addresses (ie, their work email and home email addresses) however each email address is treated as a separate Subscription and a separate Subscription Fee is payable in relation to each email address.
Amendment to Subscriber T&Cs
SPARROW MENTORS may, at any time, amend the Subscriber T&Cs by posting the amended terms on the SPARROW MENTORS website. Subscribers should, from time to time, review the SPARROW MENTORS website and any amended terms posted on the SPARROW MENTORS website. Subscribers will be deemed to have accepted any amended terms that SPARROW MENTORS posts on the SPARROW MENTORS website unless and until the Subscriber terminates his/her Subscription by written notice to SPARROW MENTORS.
Subscription Benefits and Offers
SPARROW MENTORS Subscribers are entitled to receive (by means of email) invitations to participate in webinars, other training opportunities, material promoting certain exclusive discount offers and, at times, complimentary tickets to live entertainment events in Sydney. All offers for discount tickets and complimentary tickets are made by SPARROW MENTORS in the form of a gift and not as a prize.
Subscriber Behaviour at Events
It is a condition of each Subscription that the Subscriber behaves in an orderly manner at live events. Any reports of Subscribers behaving in a way that may cause harm to the reputation of SPARROW MENTORS will immediately result in termination of a Subscriber’s Subscription.
Confidentiality and Discreetness
Subscribers must at all times keep confidential their Subscription, the terms and conditions of their Subscription, and the benefits and offers available to Subscribers under SPARROW MENTORS.
No Responsibility
SPARROW MENTORS assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries. SPARROW MENTORS is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email to be received or sent by SPARROW MENTORS on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to a Subscriber’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials relating to the SPARROW MENTORS.
No Representations & Limited Liability
SPARROW MENTORS makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability and/or merchantability of any of the goods/services offered as part of the SPARROW MENTORS. To the extent permitted by law, SPARROW MENTORS is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by SPARROW MENTORS, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to Subscribers. This clause does not affect, and is not intended to affect, any rights a consumer might have, which are not able to be excluded under applicable Australian consumer protection laws.
Applicable Law
These Subscriber T&Cs and all other specific and additional terms which govern any person’s use of or Subscription and access to SPARROW MENTORS will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of New South Wales, Australia.
